Stream Overlay

A QR card that slides onto your stream so viewers can scan straight to your site, tip jar or deals page. Add it to OBS once as a browser source. Streamlabs tips and follows can trigger it too.

Streamlabs

Find it in Streamlabs under Settings → API Settings → API Tokens → Your Socket API Token. It stays in your OBS link only. Never post that link anywhere.

Timing and placement

Pop-in mode keeps your chart clear most of the time. Tips and follows always pop it in, even between timers.

  1. In OBS, under Sources, click + → Browser and name it QR overlay.
  2. Paste the link into URL, set width 1920 and height 1080, then click OK.
  3. Keep it at the top of the source list so it sits over your chart.
  4. Scans show up in your site stats as utm_source=stream, so you'll know the stream sent them.
